Bali Village Project
Our flags are produced by a village just outside of beautiful Ubud. Ubud is known as the unofficial ‘spiritual capital’ of Bali, full of rich culture and ancient history. It’s a place steeped in beauty and conversation and fun.
Our current villagers, along with their ancestors before them, have been making flags for generations. We work closely with Ketut – their Co-Ordinator – to bring best quality fabrics, designs and colours to our range. Together we ensure that the village has their strong cultural history kept alive by valuing their product.
Your purchase today goes beyond acquiring a beautiful flag; it extends a helping hand to this tight-knit community. In this village, there are families with numerous children, wise elders, and many orphaned youths. Our commitment transcends the supply chain as we pledge to donate an additional 10% of each order’s product cost directly to Ketut, aiding in the care of the village’s orphaned children.
